Pi Day (Thursday, 3/14) is coming right up and California Sun is the place to celebrate. The new beer & pizza hangout in the heart of Silver Lake will have $3.14 cheese & pepperoni slices, as well as $15cheese & pepperoni whole pies all day!
California Sun serves Detroit-style personal pan pies with cheese baked into the deepest layer of crust, with crazy-fun flavors that are served only until they are gone. Both vegan and non-vegan available. They also serve thin-crust, NYC-style pizza by the slice or 20” pie (also V/NV). Golden Road Brewing is offering Midnight Jam on tap at its Atwater Village location – the beer is reminiscent of putting a fork into a freshly baked boysenberry pie. Midnight Jam is a Boysenberry Berliner Weisse (ABV 5.3%), with enough pucker power to make your taste buds jump for joy. Angelenos can stop by the pub on Pi Day (or sooner) to enjoy a pint of Midnight Jam.
